The journey by ferry to Sardinia is very comfortable and recommended for all those who want to have use of their car. There are connections from mainland Italy year-round and during the summer there are more frequent trips. The ports that are closer for those who want to visit Gallura are the Port of Olbia and the Port of Golfo Aranci. There are also the following ports in Sardinia: the Port of Cagliari, Port of Porto Torres and Port of Arbatax. High season begins in April, so we advise you to book your holidays well in advance.

Journey by plane is the shortest and most practical route for those who want a quick travel time. Once in Sardinia, we strongly recommend that you hire a car to move easily throughout Gallura. Sardinia is easily accessible from almost all European airports through the following places: Cagliari Airport (Elmas), Alghero Airport (Fertilia), Tortoli Airport (Arbatax) and Gallura’s Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport.
