Lacu artisanal laboratory

The craft workshop is located in Monti Casteddu, inside the cork factory.

Born from the idea of ​​Antonello Solinas about ten years ago, the laboratory treats the local cork to give shape to nativity scenes and landscapes, drawing inspiration from the medieval village of Luogosanto and from the characteristic surrounding ‘stazzi’ (old houses surrounded by countryside).

Using only a ruler, cutter, saw and hot glue or contact glue, traditional trays, baskets and trivets are also made. All strictly in cork and also made to measure.

The products of the cork laboratory can be purchased at the Tourist Office of Luogosanto in Piazza della Basilica, 2. The laboratory can be visited on request.
