This is a reddish granite promontory in the coastal centre and is a Site of Community Importance (SCI), which extends in an area between the towns of Vignola Mare and Rena Majore. It is characterised by very interesting and valuable natural features; it has a rounded shape and pink colour due to the shades of granite from the juniper trees on which they live. This area offers a wide variety of nature and biodiversity; sandy beaches and dunes, rocky shores, cliffs and wood. It is an ideal place to observe the marine life present areas, such as the Marangone dal ciuffo and the Gabbiano corso. In addition, these sites are chosen as nesting sites for many species of birds. On the right side you can see a small cove with crystal clear waters and the coast mostly rocky named Lu Caloni.
